Paper Submission guidelines: SMART-2026
Submission Format
- Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not under consideration elsewhere.
- Manuscripts should be prepared in English and formatted according to the IEEE conference template (A4 size, two-column layout).
- Each paper must clearly describe the research background, methodology, results, and conclusions, supported by relevant references.
- The paper length should be between 4 to 6 pages, including figures, tables, and references.
Submission Process
- All papers must be submitted electronically through the conference submission portal (link will be announced on the official website).
- Papers will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
- Submissions should be made in PDF format only and must adhere strictly to the template and formatting guidelines.
- Authors should ensure that no identifying information (names, affiliations, acknowledgements) is included in the initial submission for review.
Review and Acceptance
- Each submission will be evaluated based on its originality, technical quality, clarity, contribution, and relevance to the conference themes.
- Accepted papers will be notified through the Review & Decision process as per the conference timeline.
- Review outcomes may include: Accept As Is, Accept with Minor Revisions, or Reject.
- At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present their paper at the conference (in-person or online).
Plagiarism and Ethics Policy
- All submissions will be checked for plagiarism using standard similarity detection tools (e.g., Turnitin / iThenticate).
- The maximum allowable similarity index is 10–15% (excluding references).
- Papers found to contain plagiarized content or already published material will be rejected without review.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their research data and citations.
Publication and Indexing
- All accepted and presented papers will be published in the SMART 2026 Conference Proceedings and submitted for inclusion in Scopus.
- Selected high-quality papers will be recommended for publication in partnered Scopus and SCI-indexed journals after peer-reviewed extension.
Registration and Presentation
- Each accepted paper must have one registered author for inclusion in the proceedings.
- Multiple papers from the same author require separate registrations.
- The presentation format (oral/virtual/poster) will be announced after the technical program is finalized.
